Nieddittas lumachinos or sea snails are small molluscs (the shell is 2 to 3/5 cm long) that food lovers look for and appreciate, cooking them in different ways. Depending on where you are in Italy, they are also called lumachine (snails), using the feminine form. Whatever name you use for them, Nieddittas sea snails are very tasty and unique because of their natural hot taste.
